sep 1999 “Music for Ibsen’s «Ghosts»”, commissioned from the Nortlands Festival in Scotland has its first performance 15.09.99 at a recital concert in Ackergill Tower. The music is performed by the composer herself and flutist Rebecca Larsen. The music was included in the play during a tour with a London-based theatre company and director John Doyle which started with two performances at the Northlands Festival and continued through the north of Scotland in the period 16.-25.09.99.
27. jul 1999 The commission “Louange” for violin, ‘cello and church organ has its first performance at the opening concert of the St. Olav Festival in Trondheim. The concert which drew more than 700 people was held in the Nidaros Cathedral with Arve Tellefsen on violin.

1993 Till now Ratkje has composed mainly small works for piano, but also made songs and arrangements for musicals etc. She made her first pieces at the age of eight.
